The information we find on food products is not always easy to understand, compare or verify.
At a time when issues relating to food, health and the environment are playing an increasingly important role in our daily lives, food transparency is more important than ever.
That is why we invite you to take part in the Open Food Facts Days 2026.

This event will be an opportunity to discover how everyone can help make food information more transparent, accessible and useful to as many people as possible.
On the Programme
Open Food Facts Days 2026 - 13-14 November
- 🥫 Understanding the current challenges of food transparency
- 🔎 Discovering tools to help you find out more about food products
- 📱 Learning how to contribute to open data with Open Food Facts
- 🤝 Meeting the community of volunteers and contributors
- 💡 Sharing ideas and working together to shape the project’s next steps
- 🌍 Understanding why free and open data is essential for consumers, researchers, journalists and civil society organisations
All this through a variety of workshops, presentations and discussions.
Whether you’re simply a user of the Open Food Facts app, keen to understand better what you’re eating, or already a contributor, come and discover the ways you can get involved.
Our aim is simple: to empower everyone to stay informed, take action and work together to build a more transparent food system.
Friday 13th of November will be dedicated to researchers and those who reuse Open Food Facts data, but is also open to everyone.
👉 Places are limited: register now and feel free to invite your family, colleagues or friends who are interested in food, health, the environment or digital commons. (Please make sure to assign 1 name to 1 ticket in case you are taking multiple).
